Liam James McCarthy arrived at 11:28am on February 18, 2008.
8 lbs, 6 ozs. 20 inches long. Happy, healthy, and so beautiful!
We went into the hospital bright and early, but with all the paperwork and waiting around for doctors, I didn't get induced until about 9am. Liam came so quickly that he beat the anesthesiologist who was on his way to the hospital with the epidural!
We are all home from the hospital now, and Julia has happily accepted the new addition as "her baby" (much cooler than the baby doll she previously called hers). Matt & I are, of course, delighted to have this amazing new life in our household, and the grandparents and great-grandmother are overjoyed to be a part of it all! I will post many pictures soon!
